Patagonia Men's Bristlecone Walking Shoe

I have been wearing these shoes for about 4-5 months and love everything about them, I wear them at least once a day and do walk in them. They are super comfortable and look and feel amazing.
My feedback:
Here is the rub with these shoes. I feel there are a couple of flaws they need to correct for them to be worth the value. The inserts are wearing through and also the inserts did not protect sole of the shoe from wearing out. They are now wearing super thin, almost to the point of creating a hole. I don't recommend these for daily use. I would use them for casual dress wear. They say walking shoe, but I don't recommend you walk outdoors in these as a habit unless you want to be buying a pair every six months.
I think for this price they should go with Vibram soles or other material that lasts longer. I bought these at REI so I might take them back but they may not carry them any longer. In fact to prove my point, if you stepped on a rose thorn or a goat head, basically a prickly thorn it would poke through the shoe bottom and lodge in the shoe like it did with mine.
If you do buy a pair just keep these points in mind, as there are a lot of shoes to choose from for 140 bucks.
