Mizuno Men's Speed Trainer 5 Turf Shoe

I bought these from an online baseball store that takes Amazon payment. They definitely run small. Son #2 wears a 9 and they were too short. Two teammates that generally wear an 8.5 both tried them on and said they were too small. I need to order another pair but not sure if I should get a 9.5 or a 10. The 9.5 I ordered in a Mizuno Blaze turf shoe for son #1 and they fit him fine but are too big for son #2 so it's not all Mizuno's, just this style that runs small. The description says they are narrow but they are very short as well.
