I own pair of wingtips from Rockport and they are my go to shoe for comfort while wearing slacks and even a suit. I expected these to feel the same and look just as good.
However, I was disappointed with the fit and lack of comfort. First I noticed was the size of the shoe. I normally wear a size 12, but this shoe was a 1/2 size too large and just a bit wide. I almost felt like I got the wide version of the shoe by accident, but unfortunately it was the standard width. It looked as if I was wearing special orthotic shoes.
What's more, where the shoe folds (just in front of the laces) when walking is very stiff and I could feel it digging into the top of my foot and toes. These were no where near as comfy as my other Rockport's so I guess my search continues.
