A cycling shoe that nicely reflects a period, vintage older black leather style of road shoe. Very well made and nicely designed to transfer all of the pedalling force direct to the bike. The sole is unobtrusive and minimalist and stiff enough to perform as intended yet can be walked on with relative comfort. I would recommend purchasing SPD cleat protectors if you do a lot of walking after/during rides as I tend to do. Unlike so many cycling shoes which give a clunky appearance due to the hook and loop tab closure systems which currently predominate, the All Road II gives a neat and classic look. Purchase a half size larger than your normal size as Pearl Izumi sizes are small. I am a 9.5 I purchased a 10 and it fit perfectly.
