The stitching on this Alpen Slipper is quite strong, though I suspect that the sole is bonded to the upper with adhesive. The sizing seemed to be just right, if on the snug size for my size 12(D) feet. I truly like the design of the stitching.



Overall, I would recommend this slipper to those searching for a comfortable option that won't fall apart after months of rigorous use. If you're looking for the very best option for winter slippers, however, I might suggest taking a look at Tamarac and LB Evans.
